In December 2011 163 condos sold in the Charlotte area, an 18.1% increase from the 138 condos sold in November 2011. December 2011 sales figures increased 12.4% from December 2010 when 145 Charlotte condos sold.
The average sales price increased 9.3% from $147,348 in November 2011 to $161,081 in December 2011. The December 2011 average sales price decreased 7.5% from the December 2010 average sales price which was $174,122.
Average days on the market decreased 12.2% from 147 in November to 129 in December. December 2010 average days on the market were 108.
Currently there are 1,078 Charlotte condo/townhomes listed for sale in the Charlotte MLS. The average unit is a 2 bed/2 bath unit with 1,538 square feet and an average list price of $221,930, down .8% from Novemberâs average list price of $223,828. The average days on the market are 193. Currently 175, or about 16.2%, Charlotte condos are under contract, up from 168 under contract in November.
