In March 2012 180 condos sold in the Charlotte area, a 46.3% increase from the 123 condos sold in February. March 2012 sales figures increased 12.58% from March 2011 when 160 Charlotte condos sold.
The average sales price increased 9.3% from $139,791 in February to $152,792 in March. The March 2012 average sales price decreased 6.9% from the March 2011 average sales price which was $164,122.
Average days on the market increased 10.8% from 148 in February to 164 in March. March 2011 average days on the market were 150.
Currently there are 995 Charlotte condo/townhomes listed for sale in the Charlotte MLS. The average unit is a 2 bed/2 bath unit with 1,538 square feet and an average list price of $223,541, down 4.9% from February‘s average list price of $235,109. The average days on the market are 176. Currently 211, or about 21.2%, Charlotte condos are under contract, up from 148 under contract in February.
