In December 2010 146 condos sold in the Charlotte area, a 27% increase from the 115 condos sold in November 2010. December 2010 sales figures decreased 16% from December 2009 when 174 Charlotte condos sold.
The average sales price increased 1% from $172,461 in November 2010 to $174,436 in December 2010. The December 2010 average sales price increased 17% from the December 2009 average sales price which was $149,718.
Average days on the market decreased 13% from 124 in November to 108 in December. December 2009 average days on the market were 117.
Currently there are 1,863 Charlotte condo/townhomes listed for sale in the Charlotte MLS. The average unit is a 2 bed/2 bath unit with 1,432 square feet and an average list price of $209,623, down 3% from November. The average days on the market are 146. Currently 263, or about 14%, Charlotte condos are under contract.
