In October 2010 127 condos sold in the Charlotte area, a 25% increase from the 102 condos sold in September 2010. October 2010 sales figures decreased 41% from October 2009 when 214 Charlotte condos sold.
The average sales price decreased 19% from $174,393 in September 2010 to $141,781 in October 2010. The October 2010 average sales price decreased 13% from the October 2009 average sales price which was $162,932.
Average days on the market decreased 11% from 108 in September to 96 in October. October 2009 average days on the market were 58.
Currently there are 2,430 condo/townhomes listed for sale in the Charlotte MLS. The average unit is a 2 bed/2 bath home with 1,452 square feet and an average list price of $218,171. The average days on the market are 137. Currently 401, or about 17%, Charlotte condos are under contract.
