In August 2010 145 condos sold in the Charlotte area, an 8% decrease from the 158 condos sold in July 2010. August 2010 sales figures decreased 20% from August 2009 when 182 Charlotte condos sold.
The average sales price increased 1% from $176,781 in July 2010 to $177,888 in August 2010. August 2010 average sales price increased 5% from the August 2009 average sales price which was $168,129.
Average days on the market decreased 21% from 208 in July to 118 in August. August 2009 average days on the market were 112.
Currently there are 539 condo/townhomes listed for sale in the Charlotte MLS area. The average unit is a 2 bed/2 bath home with 1,486 square feeet and an average list price of $214,528. The average days on the market are 142. 101 Charlotte condos/townhomes are currently under contract.
