In January 2012 123 condos sold in the Charlotte area, an 24.5% decrease from the 163 condos sold in December 2011. January 2012 sales figures decreased 25.5% from January 2011 when 165 Charlotte condos sold.
The average sales price eecreased 8.4% from $161,081 in December 2011 to $147,496 in December 2011. The January 2012 average sales price decreased 21.3% from the January 2011 average sales price which was $187,470.
Average days on the market increased 13.2% from 129 in December to 146 in January. January 2011 average days on the market were 117.
Currently there are 942 Charlotte condo/townhomes listed for sale in the Charlotte MLS. The average unit is a 2 bed/2 bath unit with 1,533 square feet and an average list price of $225,575, up 1.6% from Decemberâs average list price of $221,930. The average days on the market are 193. Currently 152, or about 16.1%, Charlotte condos are under contract, down from 175 under contract in December.
